Peppers and Cauliflower
The nights are getting cooler and the peppers are all being harvested. Sweets and hots, all varieties and colors.
Cauliflower is in! This means fall cabbages, broccoli, winter squashes, and greens are also making their way to the Ithaca Farmers Market, so these Fall harvest gems are likely making their way to a market near you, too. It's time to warm the house up with a big pot of soup or a stew, or a lovely savory pastry, pictured below.

When the harvest arrives
It's time to gather
It's time to start planning your Thanksgiving dinner, with a pasture raised turkey or some kind of roast.
Growing up, I was lucky to enjoy big Thanksgiving parties of family and friends at my cousins' house on the beach. We had a turkey, ham and beef roasts, pies, vegetables, squashes, breads, potatoes, everything.
You can get everything you need for your harvest dinner of celebration and being together, at a farmers market near you.
Graeta Basil
Great flavor
Holiday parties always end with a lot of cleanup. Dishes, lot of fancy glassware, pot, pans, cutlery, and serving dishes.
With so many toxins disguised as "natural", you may want to help your guests, host or hostess with an all natural solid cleaner concentrate.
Damask Roses fresh cut from the garden
Decorate your table
Right now, my table is full of tomatoes and peppers that I saved from the hard frost we had last week. Andy still picked a few roses to add to the color array. These roses LOVE this cool rainy weather.
Wherever you are, enjoy the local harvest. Plan your gatherings with family and friends.
Especially enjoy the cleanup ritual with Instant Liquid Soap that makes your dishes and stovetop sparkle. Your hands will thank you by staying soft, and your house, and meal will be free from toxic perfumes.
