What is Calendula?

Change is very reliable. For many years, Lavender Mint Calendula Stik was always in stock. Wendy grew a reliable calendula patch in her garden specifically to make this cream. That garden location had the gift from Andy’s father, of barnyard soil, so it was a very fertile garden. Calendula is a member of the marigold family. Aside from being a wonderful medicine plant for topical use, it is also excellent for keeping garden pests at bay.

When they relocated, the garden took many years to establish and get the soil right for growing food and helpful garden flowers, such as calendula. Hence, the Lavender Mint Calendula Stik was discontinued, for a while.Then, Andy and Wendy bought a CSA at a local farm. They have a beautiful calendula patch, making it possible for the solid lotion to be back in stock for a while.
