Ithaca Bar Soap Ingredients:
Saponified certified organic coconut oil, certified organic sunflower oil, and 100% pure water processed essential oils (in all scented varieties.) Unscented and Unscented Oat soaps do not contain essential oils. Pumice and poppy seeds are only in our hand soap, the Tough Guy bar. Oats are only in the Oat bars.

Instant Liquid Soap
Instant Liquid Soap Ingredients:
Saponified certified organic coconut oil, 100% essential oils (in all scented varieties, only, Unscented liquid soap does not contain essential oils).
The only way to get truly plastic free liquid hand soap refill is from our Instant Liquid Soap, aka Castile liquid soap. This is a pure Castile soap, specially formulated as a Castile soap concentrate. Once diluted, it is very sudsy, gentle on skin, and tough on germs.

Beeswax Lip Balm
Our wonderfully luxurious beeswax lip balms leave lips moist and smooth for many hours. Not at all greasy. Great for severely chapped lips.
Ingredients we do not use in any of our products
- glycerine: is the drying protein extracted from whole, full fat oils. This is why "glycerine soaps" leave you dry and you need lotion afterwards.
- various salts, sugars and alcohols - such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) sodium phytate, Cocomidiproply Hydroxysultaine, sodium methyl coccyx taurate, sodium coco sulfate, caprylyl / carpal glucoside, laurel glucoside. These ingredients are extracted from whole oils which can be drying to skin, and are lung and eye irritants. Once a natural ingredient is refined to this state, it moves into the "chemical" catagory. Many companies greenwash these ingredients by stating "derived from" and list the natural ingredient.
- sodium laurel sulfate, methylisothiazolinone, benziothiazolinone are foaming agents deemed to be unsafe
- thickeners used to give that perfect drop. With natural soaps, this changes the soaps chemistry causing them to separate and clog up dispensers. In chemical "soaps", these thickeners are irritants to skin, eyes, and lungs.
- palm oil (since we do not farm our own sustainable source)
- no nut oils of any kind
- limonene: a commonly used natural ingredient found in almost every "natural" lip balm out there. Limonene is found in citrus rind and is a know skin irritant. It is used in commercial lip balms to intentionally dry out your lips so you will use more lip balm.
