The refreshing scent of our rosemary soap makes you think of a cook's herb garden. Rosemary is known to possibly alleviate acne, eczema, and keep mosquitoes at bay. It has been said to stun flees, so they can be gotten rid of easily. It can awaken the senses while calming the mind, making it an excellent aid before a test. Burned sprigs of rosemary were used to drive away evil spirits and protect against the plague. An excellent alternative to basil and a great shaving soap.

As with any journey, transformations happen. Seeds get planted, nurtured and grow. Andy and Wendy began to rely on the soap business and it treated them well. Wendy had a fancy purse business that was coming to an end, as they settled into their  soap making life back in Ithaca.

Being part of the Ithaca Farmers Market attuned them to the life cycles of a farming community, which is where Andy came from. They bought a house, planted a garden and settled in. For the most part, life was good. Being part of a world famous, large farmers market cooperative has it’s joys and challenges.
